Why a toy?

The idea in thirty seconds.

Frame-by-frame animation is just drawings shown in order. The ghost of the previous frame, called onion skin, is how animators keep each new pose close to the last one. Studio does this for real, with layers, timing in ticks, tweens, sound and movie export. This page lets you feel the loop before you install anything.

Your drawings stay here.

Frames live in your browser's memory while the page is open. There is no storage, no account and no upload. Closing the tab clears everything; the only copies are the files you choose to download.
